HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THIS INTERNSHIP? I found out about this internship through Sam Borawski because she worked with them in the Spring of 2015, I’m also very familiar with Honkers baseball.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST FAVORITE PART OF THE INTERNSHIP: My most favorite part so far is being with the interns. I’ve met some great people that I could see being life-long friends.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST CHALLENGING PART OF THE INTERNSHIP: The most challenging part is the hours. I’m getting used to it but sometimes the hours are extremely heavy. I really treasure the moments I have with my family when I do.
WHAT’S BEEN THE BIGGEST LESSON(S): The biggest lessons are respect, always try your best, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and stay positive when things are tough.
ADVICE TO OTHER STUDENTS PREPARING FOR AN INTERNSHIP: My advice is to gain experience early. I’ve gained a great experience this summer and I’m going to be a junior. It’s never too early to start something new. If anything, it’ll benefit you in the long run when it comes to finding a career and figuring out what you want to do in life.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?: Something else that I would like to share is internships are great because they provide great experience, you meet and see a lot of people, and it’s a way to get your name out. You’re never too young to follow your dreams, even if the process is difficult.
