WHAT IS THE WASHINGTON CENTER?
The Washington Center (TWC) is a program affiliated with Saint Mary’s to provide invaluable internship experiences in Washington, D.C. TWC Internship Program combines real-world work experience with academic learning in a unique environment that fosters success and achievement. For one semester, students can work and earn college credits in their chosen academic field in the heart of the nation’s capitol, Washington, D.C. Internships can be arranged in government agencies or in private non-profit organizations.
WHAT MAJORS ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE?
Juniors and seniors in all majors are welcome to apply

Our nation’s capital is home to leading national and international organizations from every major field. Student participants get to meet, work with and network with some of the best minds in those fields and gain outstanding experience all while earning academic credit.
