How Did You Find Out About This Internship?: I didn’t find this internship so much as I created it with the parish administrator and parochial vicar for the Cathedral and St. Casimir parish.

What Has Been Your Most Favorite Part Of The Internship: My favorite part of this internship has been the interactions I have had with the youth, however brief they have been.

What Has Been Your Most Challenging Part Of The Internship: The most challenging part of this internship has been communication. I have struggled to figure out the most effective communication method with the volunteers at the parish.

What’s Been The Biggest Lesson(S): The biggest lesson I have learned is that you can never clarify plans too much. Asking questions, even when are almost positive you understand the answer, is so important. Get started early. Do not wait until a month before the end of the semester to start getting all of the paperwork together. When you get to your internship, don’t forget to have some fun. This is a learning experience, but it is also meant to make memories and get you excited for your career.
