Major Responsibilities: Creating write ups and news releases, generating social media content and copy for emails.

How Did You Find Out About This Internship?: I heard from the English department that some students had done an internship at the Performance Center in the past, so I decided to try to attain a position here for the semester. 

What Has Been Your Most Favorite Part Of The Internship?: I really enjoy working with the people at the Performance Center, and creating the content has been a great experience.

What Has Been Your Most Challenging Part Of The Internship?: The most challenging part has been making sure I generate content that fits in with what the Performance Center usually creates. 

What has Been The Biggest Lesson(S): There are so many elements that go into creating a successful marketing campaign and maintaining a good line of communication between a business and the public. 

Advice To Other Students Preparing For An Internship: Be open to new experiences and learning a different way of doing something. You’ll be surprised by what you learn. 

Anything Else You’d Like To Share: Internships are a great way to gain new experience and gain new skills, so I would recommend trying to do one before you graduate.
